Analysis of factors affecting the survival time of the low cost carrier on the market

The objective of the thesis is to perform an analysis of low cost carrier market in the Europe, case studies of defunct and successful low cost carriers and to determine factors, which affect survival time of low cost carrier on the market. The thesis is focused on the European market in 2007-2017. It includes brief description of origin of low cost carriers and their spread to the European market. Next part is dedicated to general description of a low cost carrier and analysis of the European low cost market. Three defunct low cost carriers are described in the next chapter, which includes basic information and detailed description of their actions. It includes determination of cause of ceasing their operation. Three successful low cost carriers are described in the same manner. In the end, the factors affecting survival time of low cost carriers are determined with usage of an analysis of economic and operational parameters of low cost carriers.

The position of the company Czech Airlines on the aviation market

This bachelor thesis focuses on the company Czech Airlines and analyzes its position on the aviation market. The thesis describes the development of CSA and the important circumstances that shaped the present form of company. CSA has been struggling with economic problems, that is why a financial analysis is included in the thesis. It will help to clarify whether the company still has a future or not. There is also an analysis of the aviation market where the company is compared with competing airlines. CSA has changed dramatically over the last decade, and my thesis specializes on these changes.
Financial analysis and comparison of the airline companies Ryanair Ltd and EasyJet plc

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse and compare the results of a financial analysis of two low-cost airline companies - Ryanair Ltd and EasyJet plc for the period from 2012 to 2016. The thesis consists of two main parts - the Theoretical part and the Practical part. The Theoretical part presents and describes the financial indicators relating to the financial analysis itself. The Practical part introduces the companies Ryanair and EasyJet. Firstly, both horizontal and vertical analyses are performed on the annual results of Ryanair. Secondly, in the practical part are also compared the financial ratios, credibility models and bankruptcy models of Ryanair against its competitor EasyJet.
Corporate education and its relationship to mobilty and motivation

Bachelor thesis concerns with corporate education and in its context concerns also with mobility in company and motivation to education. The thesis elaborates wider background to this topic, which is seen in the relationship of work and knowledge. The development, which it follows, is culminating in facts, which some theorists identify as aspects of the knowledge society. Corporate education is understood as a part of lifelong learning and its basic characteristics are described. The thesis also briefly describes the issues of mobility of workers in the company and their motivation for corporate education. The author used this background as a basis for practical research carried out in the technical section of airline, which examined the attitudes of its staff to issue of the thesis. The research is focused on the business aviation sector, which provides specific conditions for worker mobility, and for the motivation for learning. The selected airline was chosen because of its size and broadly conducted corporate education. The research shows that employees perceive their corporate education positively, but that they do not see it as a good instrument for mobility in company. Competition in the Aviation Market

The thesis titled Competition in the Aviation Market contains issues of competition in the market for passenger air transport services in the Czech Republic. It focuses on the major airlines operating in the market of scheduled air transport, particularly on Czech Airlines and Travel Service. These airlines are engaged in their introduction, description of their services, the development of selected indicators and SWOT analysis. For Czech Airlines characterizes cooperation with Asian airline, Korean Air. The thesis also describes the competition from other perspectives as well as major trends in air transport. The theoretical part of thesis includes explanations of basic terms of the solved problem, namely the introduction of air transportation, airlines and theories in the field of competition. Own works will contain a description of specific airlines, analyzing their offers, the development of the main indicators, SWOT analysis and trends in air transportation. The final section is devoted to the evaluation of the results.
